Ashish Pandey is a writer and independent film maker striving to attain perfection in his artistic creations. A professional film graduate from Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute (SRFTI), Kolkata he has realized a wide spectrum of video artistry and experimented with a broad bandwidth of audio expressions. In the last 13 years he has been a sound engineer, radio producer, copywriter for television and advertising (Publicis group), content writer of fiction/non fiction television shows, producer of a reality show, and eventually a film maker. His two short films ‘The Cabin man’ & ‘Open Doors’ have been screened at 50 international film festivals (including the Indian Panorama), exhibited at art galleries like Centre Pompidou,Paris and have been part of centenary celebration of Indian cinema at Clermont-ferrand this year. The films have also gathered 12 awards amongst them.
